BetMines on a free account: tips, scanners, price
BetMines calls itself a football predictions app, and the main markets are free: 1X2, over/under 2.5, both teams to score and double chance. The paid part is a set of scanners: filters that send you an alert when a match fits your rule. We opened a free account, opened every tool the free plan allows, and checked the site's own probability numbers against its own odds.
Pros
- Free probabilities for every match on the main markets.
- Match pages with xG, shots, momentum and league tables by event.
- Every suggested scanner filter shows picks, hit rate, mean odds and ROI.
- Sign-up without a card, and the free plan has no time limit.
Cons
- 10 of 13 top tips negative by the site's own probability.
- Only one suggested filter has an ROI above 5%, none above 10%.
- No refunds; the "Try Premium free" button only opens the pricing page.
- Two company names, PI2 Solutions in the terms and Soltek Mines SL at checkout.
What is free on BetMines and what is behind the crown
BetMines splits its menu in two. Tools without a crown icon are free. Tools with a crown are Premium.

The free side is bigger than at most prediction sites. A free user gets a probability for every match on the main markets. The tabs for the 1.5 and 3.5 goal lines carry a crown, but the picks on those lines still appear in the Top tips list with their probability and odds; 10 of the 13 tips in this review are exactly those lines. BetMines does not say that the paid probability differs from the free one. Premium adds alerts, search tools and backtesting on top of what the free plan already shows.
A free user gets a probability for every match. Premium adds alerts and search on top of what the free plan already shows.
Sign-up takes two minutes: email, first name, last name, password, a captcha and the terms box. You confirm the email and the account works. No card, no phone. There is no separate 18+ check; the age rule is only in the terms. The footer carries a responsible gambling block with links to GamCare, GamStop and BeGambleAware.
BetMines top tips: 77% probability at 1.14 odds
The main page shows a list of «top tips». Each row has the match, a probability, the market, the pick and the odds. These two numbers are enough to test any tip.
Odds show how much you get back. Odds 1.14 mean $100 becomes $114 if the bet wins.
Break-even is the share of bets you must win just to stay at zero. It is 1 divided by the odds, also called the implied probability of the odds. At 1.14 that is 87.7%. Win less often than that and you lose money, even if you win most bets.
Seven top tips for 8 September 2026, all from one screen:
| Match | Pick | BetMines probability | Odds | Break-even | Expectation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Utrecht – Go Ahead | Over 1.5 | 77% | 1.14 | 87.7% | −12% |
| NEC – Excelsior | Over 1.5 | 85% | 1.10 | 90.9% | −6.5% |
| Brugge – Aston Villa | 12 | 79% | 1.28 | 78.1% | +1% |
| AEK – LASK | Over 1.5 | 77% | 1.20 | 83.3% | −7.6% |
| Real Madrid – Inter | Over 1.5 | 81% | 1.12 | 89.3% | −9% |
| Porto – Man City | Over 1.5 | 78% | 1.22 | 82.0% | −5% |
| Dortmund – Villarreal | Over 1.5 | 78% | 1.14 | 87.7% | −11% |
Expectation is probability × odds − 1. First row: 0.77 × 1.14 = 0.878, minus 1 = −12%. For every $100 on that tip, the model itself expects $88 back.
Six of seven rows are negative. The average is about −7%. The one positive row is +1%, and a small odds difference between two bookmakers removes it.
At NerdyTips we had to settle 170,000 tips from a file to find the loss. At BetMines both columns are on the front page, and the loss is visible before the first bet.
The model says 77%. The odds need 88%. BetMines shows both numbers in one row and still calls it a top tip.
Across the two days we collected 13 top tips: seven live for 8 September and six settled for 7 September. The model's probability is in green, break-even in red.
One day of results: five of six won
BetMines has no results archive as a file. It has a «Predictions for Yesterday» page with the final scores next to the tips. We took the top tips tab for 7 September.
| Match | Score | Pick | Probability | Odds | Result | Expectation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Getafe – Celta | 1:1 | Under 3.5 | 85% | 1.11 | Won | −5.7% |
| Elche – Real Sociedad | 2:3 | Over 1.5 | 72% | 1.22 | Won | −12.2% |
| Jong PSV – Den Bosch | 3:1 | 12 | 78% | 1.25 | Won | −2.5% |
| Jong Utrecht – Eindhoven | 0:0 | Over 1.5 | 80% | 1.16 | Lost | −7.2% |
| Cagliari – Lecce | 1:0 | 1X | 66% | 1.25 | Won | −17.5% |
| Udinese – Lazio | 1:2 | Under 3.5 | 75% | 1.25 | Won | −6.3% |
Five winners from six. With $10 on each tip you placed $60 and got back $60.80. Profit: 80 cents.
A good day. The model behind it is the same: all six tips have a negative expectation by BetMines' own probability, on average −8.5%. Odds of 1.11 to 1.25 need a hit rate of 80% to 90%, and the site gives these tips 66% to 85%. On one day you can win five of six. Over a month the gap between the two numbers turns into a loss.
Five of six won and the profit was 80 cents on $60. At odds of 1.11 you can win most bets and still lose money.
Six matches is a small sample.
Check any BetMines tip in three steps
Premium is not needed for this check. Take the last row above, Udinese – Lazio, Under 3.5, 75% at 1.25.
- Break-even. Divide 1 by the odds. 1 ÷ 1.25 = 0.80, so 80%. The tip must win 80% of the time just to return your stake.
- Compare. BetMines gives the tip 75%. That is below 80%. The model's own number says the tip loses over time.
- Expected return. Multiply probability by odds and subtract 1. 0.75 × 1.25 − 1 = −0.06, so −6%. For every $100 placed, the model expects $94 back.
Our betting calculators do steps 1 and 3 for you. Do this for a week of top tips. If most rows come out negative, the site's own data has answered the question.
Match pages and Advanced Filters are the strong part
The match page is the best free part of BetMines. For any match in the list you get 1X2 probabilities, expected goals (xG, a measure of the quality of the chances a team created), shots, a momentum chart, the last five games of each team, pre-match stats by market, and a league table sorted by one event, for example «Over 2.5 in home games». A text preview repeats the probabilities in sentences.
Every match page also has a FAQ block: «What are the 1X2 probabilities for Team A – Team B according to BetMines?» This is a search-engine template, written for every match. This is why the brand shows up in Google for match names.
Advanced Filters works on the free plan. We used it like this:
- Open Advanced Filters in the left menu.
- Choose an event, for example «Total goals: Over 2.5».
- Set the odds range if you want one, and press search.
We got a list of matches with odds. The first rows were Liga MX Women, Primavera 2, K League and UEFA Youth League. So this is what the 1,200 leagues are: many of them are youth, reserve and women's competitions with thin markets and low betting limits.
Three criteria carry a crown on Free: saved searches, «rate over all league's matches» and average goals scored/conceded.
BetMines Machine builds accumulators, but hides the probability
An accumulator is one bet on several matches at once. All picks must win. The odds multiply, so the payout grows fast and the chance of winning falls fast.
BetMines Machine builds these slips. You pick an event type, the number of matches from 1 to 20, and an odds range per match. At the top you set a target for the total odds, for example min 5.00 and max 25.00. The Machine fills the slip.
On the free plan two things are locked, each with an orange «Unlock» button: part of the event list and the probability range. The free odds range runs from 1 to 4+ per pick.
Free users can build a slip by odds, but cannot filter by the model's probability. Odds without probability again, as in the top tips. A slip of five picks at 1.20 each pays 2.49. If each pick has an 80% chance by the model, the whole slip has a 33% chance (0.8 × 0.8 × 0.8 × 0.8 × 0.8). Break-even for 2.49 is 40%. The Machine on Free never shows you the 33%.
On the free plan the Machine builds a five-leg slip by odds. Its own model gives that slip a 33% chance against a 40% break-even, and the free version hides the 33%.
Trends and the Value bet bot: what a streak tells you
Trends on the free plan show series: «Young Africans won last 12», «Asker won last 9». The paid version shows more of them.
A streak is history. If a team won 12 in a row and the bookmaker offers 1.15 for the next win, the odds already include the streak, because the bookmaker has the same data. Information everyone has cannot give you an edge.
The Value bet bot is fully Premium. There is no preview. The site describes two bots. The «Value» bot compares the model's probability with the odds. The «Trend» bot looks for patterns like «team A won 100% of last 18 home matches». The first is a real value method. The second is the same streak list under a different name.
We could not test either bot. From the top tips we know that the model's own probability was below break-even in 12 of 13 cases. A value bot built on that model will find value only where the model disagrees with the market by a wide margin.
Pre-Match scanner: one suggested filter above 5% ROI
The Pre-Match scanner is the tool BetMines sells. A scanner is a saved rule, for example «both teams score, favourite at home, odds 1.40 to 1.70». When a coming match fits the rule, you get an alert on the site or in Telegram. BetMines calls each rule a «service». Free users get one service and five alerts a day. Premium removes the limits and adds backtesting: a test of the rule on past matches, 12, 24 or 36 months depending on the plan.
The record of each rule is open to everyone. The «Suggested filters» tab lists ready-made rules with their record: date created, number of picks, success rate, mean odds of all picks, mean odds of the winning picks, ROI (return on investment, profit as a share of money placed), subscribers and leagues. We sorted by success rate. The top three:
| Filter | Since | Picks | Success rate | Mean odds | Mean odds, winning picks | ROI | Subscribers |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GG 2 Years (BTTS yes) | July 2025 | 556 | 66.49% | 1.531 | 1.528 | +1.59% | 5,403 |
| Fav Win Home | July 2025 | 464 | 61.56% | 1.674 | 1.669 | +2.75% | 3,247 |
| New Corners −9.5 | Nov 2024 | 3,365 | 54.59% | 1.866 | 1.859 | +1.46% | 2,561 |
We checked the arithmetic. Multiply the success rate by the mean odds of the winning picks: 0.6649 × 1.528 = 1.016, so +1.6%. The site says +1.59%. The other two rows give +2.7% and +1.5% against the site's +2.75% and +1.46%. The figures agree.
The figures are also small. The home page promises «over 10,000 positive ROI filters». Positive here means +1.5% after 556 picks. Follow the BTTS rule with $10 a pick over its 556 picks (about 14 months) and you make about $88 on $5,560 placed, roughly $6 a month. With slightly lower odds at your own bookmaker the profit is gone.
To use the free scanner: open Pre-Match scanner, go to «Suggested filters», pick a rule and press «Import». It becomes your one free service. Alerts stop after five a day.
The Backtesting tab opens on the free plan, but the page shows one line, «You have to be PREMIUM to view this page», and a Go Premium button. So the promise on the free banner, «you can try it for free», covers one filter and five alerts, and no backtest.
Success rate is the column a beginner reads first, so we also asked the other question: which suggested filters have a high ROI? The filter panel has an «ROI (Minimum)» list. Its lowest value is 5%. With 5% selected, the table shows one filter.
| Filter | Since | Picks | Success rate | Mean odds, winning picks | ROI | Subscribers |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Goal-Goal Full Time Bom (BTTS yes) | Dec 2024 | 817 | 53.92% | 1.977 | +6.63% | 3,224 |
The arithmetic holds again: 0.5392 × 1.977 = 1.066, so +6.6%. At $10 a pick this filter has returned about $540 on $8,170 placed over 20 months, roughly $26 a month. That is the one suggested filter that pays for a €19.99 subscription at a $10 stake. At 10% minimum ROI the table is empty.
Set the minimum ROI to 5% and BetMines' own list of suggested filters shrinks to one. Set it to 10% and the list is empty.
The 10,000 figure on the home page counts users' filters too, and those we did not go through. Among the filters BetMines itself recommends, one beats 5%.
How much does BetMines Premium cost?
Prices are in euro. All three plans renew automatically. You can cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
| Plan | First period | Then | Backtesting |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | €15.99 | €19.99 a month | 12 months |
| 3 months | €11.66 a month (€34.99) | €49.99 a quarter | 24 months |
| 12 months | €8.40 a month (€100.80) | €168 a year | 36 months |
The lowest monthly price is the annual plan at €8.40, but it is €100.80 paid at once. The monthly plan is €15.99 for the first month and €19.99 after that. The discount applies only to the first period. The «20% first month» tag on the checkout page confirms this for the monthly plan.
Payment goes through Stripe. Options: card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Link. Stripe converts the price into your local currency, and the small print on the checkout page says the exchange rate includes a 4% conversion fee. Readers in Nigeria, Kenya, India or Bangladesh pay that 4% on every renewal unless they can pay in euro.
There are no refunds. The terms state that a user can try Premium free before buying, so refunds are not allowed. Money for an unused period is not returned either. A third-party app catalogue mentions a «30-day satisfaction refund». Only the terms apply.
The terms name PI2 Solutions. The Stripe checkout says you pay Soltek Mines SL, a Spanish limited company. The two may belong to the same owner; the site gives no explanation.
The terms name PI2 Solutions. The payment page charges you as Soltek Mines SL. No refunds, because the terms say you «had a free trial».
The terms rely on that free trial. Visitors do see one promised: a pop-up says «Try BetMines Premium for free» and offers a «Try Premium free» button, and the header reads «Go Premium: Get started for free». Inside the account we found no trial. The pricing page offers only «Choose plan», and that button opened the payment page for €15.99 with no trial period before it.
The BetMines app
BetMines also runs as an iOS and Android app. By the site's own description the app adds virtual bets with «diamonds» and a tipster leaderboard. We tested the web version on a desktop browser only, so this review does not rate the app. The site quotes user counts of 1 million, 4 million and 5 million on three different pages; the app store pages show a figure anyone can check.

BetMines has the widest free plan of the four. NerdyTips is the only one that gives away its full history. SportBot AI is the only one with a profitable model, and only for soccer totals. FootballPredictAI keeps no archive, so its accuracy cannot be checked at all. None of the four shows a profitable tip feed. We have also reviewed ScoreGPT in the same category.

Twelve of thirteen tips below break-even: the number to remember
Use the free part of BetMines. The match pages, the filters and the scanner's public records are better than most free stats sites. The probabilities are a useful second opinion when you already have a pick.
The top tips are a poor betting list. In the 13 tips we collected from two days, the site's own probability was below break-even in 12 rows. The site shows this itself, one column apart.
Premium is for people who already build filters and want alerts and backtesting. Among the rules BetMines recommends, one has an ROI above 5% and none above 10%. Before paying €19.99 a month, check that a rule's ROI covers the subscription at your stake size. At $10 a pick, the best-hit-rate BTTS rule has paid about $6 a month and the best-ROI rule about $26. The subscription costs €19.99.
