Surebet plans explained: what Free hides and what Basic and Max add

Surebet.com is arbitrage betting software for prematch markets: a surebet scanner that has worked since 2009, with a Basic plan at €29.90 a month. Most reviews online still describe plans called Professional and Professional+, and those plans no longer exist. We opened a free account, watched the feed for two days and read the User Agreement to see what the money buys.

What Surebet.com does

Surebet.com scans the odds at more than a thousand bookmaker entries before matches start and looks for mistakes: a match where the prices at two or three bookmakers add up so that you can bet on every outcome and win whatever happens. That is a surebet. The same scan also finds valuebets, where one bookmaker's price is simply too high, and middles, where two bets can both win on one result.

What you get is a list. Each row is a match, the bookmakers involved, the market at each, the odds and the profit in percent. You open the bookmakers yourself and place the bets. The site does not bet for you and does not hold your money.

The three feeds are three tabs at the top: Surebets, Middles, Valuebets. Everything in this review is about how complete those lists are, how fast they refresh, and what each plan cuts out.

How to use Surebet.com

Open en.surebet.com without an account and the Surebets tab already shows rows. Register when you want to save a filter or pay.

Set the filter first, in the right-hand panel. Bookmakers: untick everything you have no account at, or the list is useless. Sports and Tournaments: keep only what you bet. “Event during” limits the kick-off window. Press Filter. On Free you can save two filters; on Basic eight; on Max thirty-two.

Read a row. Each surebet shows the profit percentage and how long ago it was found, then one line per leg: the bookmaker with its country tag, the sport, the match as that bookmaker names it, the market, the odds with an arrow for the last move, and under Pinnacle a stake limit. The link "+ N surebets for this event" opens the other combinations on the same match.

The calculator icon at the left of a row opens the stake calculator with the odds filled in. Enter your total and it splits the stakes so every outcome returns the same amount.

Then place the bets, one bookmaker at a time, starting with the one whose odds are most likely to move. Use the SureBetSlip extension so the bookmaker does not see where you came from.

Rounds: enter stakes as round numbers, not the exact figure the calculator gives. A bet of €47.83 is a scanner bet to anyone who looks.

Valuebets work differently. You bet one side only, at the bookmaker the row names, and you accept that most single bets lose. The list behind "+ N" shows what the other bookmakers price the same line at; check it before you trust a valuebet.

Middles are the third tab and need the Basic plan to show anything with a positive expected value. They are covered later in this review.

Free, Basic and Max: the plan names changed and the reviews did not

The plans page shows three columns: Free, Basic and Max. Basic costs €29.90 for one month. Max costs €59.90 for one month. Both have a one-week, a three-month and a one-year option.

Every Surebet.com review we opened from Google still talks about Professional and Professional+ at €25.90 a month. Some of those reviews are dated 2026. The names, the prices and the feature lists do not match the live site. Use the table below and ignore the old names.

No plan includes live betting. Surebet.com scans prematch lines only.

That is the same as RebelBetting and different from BetBurger, where live is a separate paid feed.

What 1% buys you on the Free plan

The Free plan shows surebets with a profit of 1% or less. The feed marks them as “examples with profit of less than 1%”.

Above the list a counter tells you how many surebets exist for your filter and how many of them pay more than 1%. During our test about one in three surebets was above the free limit.

The counters change every few minutes, so your numbers will differ.

Surebet.com free surebets feed showing 1.00% profit rows for hockey and football with a counter of surebets above 1% hidden on the free plan
Free plan feed: 1.00% rows and the counter of hidden surebets above

A 1% surebet gives real money only with a large stake.

Take a simple two-way surebet with odds of 2.02 at both bookmakers. You put $250 on each side, $500 in total. Whichever side wins, you get back $505. The profit is $5.

The $500 is the Pinnacle stake limit on the hockey row in our screenshot, so this is the size of a real free-plan surebet.

Every side (each “leg” of the surebet) is placed at a different bookmaker, and every bookmaker limits how much you can stake.

The company's own FAQ tells new users to work in the 1–5% range and to skip surebets above 10%, because a very high percentage usually means a bookmaker error and the bet gets voided. On Free you see only the bottom of that range.

With $200 in each of three bookmaker accounts, the Free plan is a way to learn the interface. It will not earn you money.

There is also no automatic refresh on Free. You reload the page yourself. A 1% surebet found six minutes ago is often gone by the time you open both bookmakers.

Half the valuebets, and the half you get

Valuebets on the Free plan are limited in two ways. The overvalue is capped at 10%.

And only half of the events are shown; the site says the rest are “hidden on the free plan”. On our test the counter said 162,313 valuebets were found and 90,406 of them were hidden.

That is more than half, because the two limits work together: half of the events are removed, and rows above 10% are removed from the rest.

Free plan valuebets: +10.0% rows and the hidden-events counter

The rows you do see are useful. Each one shows the bookmaker, the market, the odds and the probability the scanner calculates.

Many free rows during our test were on side markets: cards, shots, corners, first to score three goals. These markets close fast and have low limits. Treat the free valuebet feed as a demo too.

One warning comes from the company itself. In a public reply on Trustpilot, Surebet.com wrote that valuebets are a free extra with no guarantee of profit and that surebets are the product it recommends.

A user who placed more than 1,000 valuebets and saw no profit got that answer.

Value betting needs hundreds of bets before the result means anything. The RebelBetting review explains the 500-bet rule that company uses in its guarantee.

Middles: the third feed, and what Free shows of it

A middle is two bets on the same match at two bookmakers where a certain result wins both. Example: over 2.5 goals at one bookmaker and under 3.5 at another.

Exactly three goals wins both bets; any other score wins one and loses one, and you lose only the difference between the two returns.

Surebet.com shows middles as a separate feed with the chance of hitting the middle and the expected value of the pair; the wiki page “Middle EV” explains the calculation.

The official plans page marks middles with a dash for Free, but the tab is open.

Free shows only middles with a negative expected value, marked as “examples with a low expected value”; the counter above the list said 428,431 middles were found and 414,582 of them had a positive expected value, and every one of those is hidden until you pay.

Each row shows the expected value, the chance that the result lands in the middle, and the loss if it does not: for example 35.2% to hit, minus 26% if you miss.

Surebet.com middles feed on the free plan showing -0.01% rows with hit probability and loss percentage, and a counter of 414,582 positive expected value middles hidden
Middles tab on the Free plan: negative-value examples and the counter of hidden positive ones

During our test the free examples were all football, and about half of them used a lay bet at an exchange (Smarkets, BetDaq) as one side.

The prediction market Kalshi also appeared as a bookmaker with a $655 stake limit.

If you have never placed a middle, read the wiki page first; a middle is not a surebet and can lose.

Surebet.com pricing: Basic at €29.90 versus Max at €59.90

The two paid plans show the same surebets, middles and valuebets on team markets. Two feed limits differ: player bets (Basic shows part of them, Max shows all) and similar bets (100 a day on Basic, no limit on Max). The rest of the extra €30 a month buys filters and details.

Player bets are surebets and valuebets on player markets: shots, cards, points by one player. Basic shows part of them, Max all.

Similar bets is the list behind the "+ 397" link at the end of a valuebet row.

It opens every valuebet the scanner found on that match, at every bookmaker and every market. On our test it showed six bookmakers with the same 12.50 on “1 first to score 3 goals” and then other markets on the same game.

Free lets you open that list 10 times a day, Basic 100 times, Max without limit.

If you check a valuebet against other bookmakers before placing it, you use this list.

The non-initiator filter needs one more term. In every surebet one bet is the “initiator”: the odds that are wrong and created the surebet.

The scanner marks it with a circle. That bet is the first one to disappear, and the wiki says it is usually the valuebet inside the surebet.

The non-initiator filter shows only the other, safer legs, for bettors who want to bet only against the bookmaker with the correct price.

Complex conditions are filter rules you write yourself, for example “show this market only at these bookmakers” or “hide exchange bets above this stake limit”. The wiki has a page with the syntax.

The rest of Max is filters and history. 32 saved filters against 8, 50 tournaments against 20, and a multi-filter that runs several filter sets at the same time.

Max also adds the exchange commission to the profit calculation, which matters if one leg is on Betfair, Matchbook or Betdaq. Odds history grows from 5 changes to 10 plus the opening odds.

The doubled login rate is marked single-user on the plans page: more requests, still one account.

Companies that want the raw feed can buy the XML API separately; the plans page does not price it.

For most readers Basic is enough. Max makes sense in three cases: you bet through exchanges, you bet on player markets, or you run many filter sets for different sports and bookmaker groups.

€9.90 for a week costs more per day than €199.90 for a year

The period ladder is the same on both plans. Per day, Basic costs €1.41 on the weekly option, €1.00 on the monthly, €0.86 on the three-month and €0.55 on the annual.

Max costs €2.84, €2.00, €1.71 and €1.10 per day for the same periods. The annual Basic plan at €199.90 is 44% cheaper than twelve monthly payments of €29.90.

The site says this openly on its Payments page: long periods get a discount, and the one-week period is “slightly more expensive”. A month means a calendar month.

Pay on the 22nd and your access ends on the 22nd of the next month.

There is no automatic renewal. When the period ends, the account drops back to Free and nothing is charged.

This is the only scanner in our series where you cannot forget to cancel. BetBurger has a recurring-billing switch that you must turn off. RebelBetting renews by default and can hold two active subscriptions at once.

1,076 bookmaker entries, from NaijaBet to Pinnacle

The bookmaker filter opens on a “Popular” set of 420 names.

Press “Show all” and the list grows to 1,076 entries. That number counts every regional version separately: Betsson appears six times (Betsson, ES, FR, GE, GR, IT), 1xBet twice, Stake four times.

The real number of separate companies is somewhere between the two figures. The list grows because users vote for new bookmakers on a public page.

The full bookmaker list: 1,076 entries with regional versions counted separately

The FAQ says the company does not remove a bookmaker on request, although the User Agreement keeps the right to change the list.

Online reviews quote 167, 500 or 550 bookmakers. Those figures come from different years and count different things. Open the filter and press “Show all” yourself.

The site also keeps a public Bookmaker rating page that groups all listed bookmakers by reviews, popularity and payment options; neither BetBurger nor RebelBetting has one.

What the list looks like in practice: on one day the free feed paired Luckia (Spain) and OneCasino with Pinnacle888 on a Chilean second-division match, NaijaBet (Nigeria) and BetDaq with Pinnacle on a Europa League game, and Efbet (Bulgaria) with OgaBet on a German second-division match.

Local European and African bookmakers appear as legs next to Pinnacle, the bookmaker most arbitrage bettors use as the base leg.

This is the coverage a reader in Nigeria, Kenya, Spain or Bulgaria needs, and it is where the US-facing scanners are weak.

Sports: the filter lists about 70 entries. That covers the main sports, esports (Counter-Strike, Dota, League of Legends, Valorant and more), virtual sports and small sports like bandy, floorball and pesäpallo. Reviews that quote 39 or 64 sports are also out of date.

How fast is the scan?

The site does not publish a refresh time. The FAQ has a question titled “You say that you run scans every few minutes, but I can see that it takes much longer”. The answer admits the scan time “sometimes indeed exceeds the comfortable limits”.

A public page at /scans shows the last scan time for each bookmaker, so you can check a bookmaker before you rely on it.

For a prematch scanner this is workable. Surebets of 2% and more on next-day matches often stay open for minutes, sometimes hours; the 1% rows on Free close fastest, because every visitor sees them.

OddStorm promises 15 seconds prematch, but it costs about ten times more and covers football only.

If you need the fastest feed, Surebet.com is the wrong tool. If you need a wide feed at a low price, you accept the slower scan.

The Free plan has no automatic refresh at all, so on Free the refresh rate is how often you press F5.

SureBetSlip and the max-stake column

SureBetSlip is the browser extension. Click a bookmaker in a surebet row and the extension opens the event page at that bookmaker with the redirect removed.

The FAQ says the bookmaker “will not be able to track” that you came from a scanner. Bookmakers limit arbitrage bettors, and a link that shows surebet.com as the source is one of the easier ways to get caught.

Install the SureBetSlip extension before you place the first bet.

Under Pinnacle odds the feed shows a dollar figure: $100, $175, $500.

Hover over it and the tooltip says “Stake limit”: the maximum stake Pinnacle accepts on that line. Exchange legs show the same thing in pounds, for example £20 or £149 at Smarkets.

Pinnacle is one leg in most surebets, so the number tells you how much the surebet can carry before you open the site.

BetBurger has a similar setting called “Show Pinnacle liquidity”; on Surebet.com it is on by default.

Paying a company in Minsk

The User Agreement names the operator: Valuesoft LLC, registered in Minsk, Belarus. The contract is under Belarusian law, and disputes go to a court in Minsk after a 60-day claims process.

The reviews we read do not mention this. It does not change how the scanner works, but you should know who holds the money and which country's law applies.

The payment list follows from the location. Visa and MasterCard, Skrill and Neteller, and then Mir, Sberbank, YooMoney, Pix, PagoEfectivo, Rapyd, Litecoin, USDT and TRON.

The site says the available methods depend on your country. You can pay in any currency and the site converts it, with a warning that the final amount may differ by a few percent.

For readers in India, Kenya or Nigeria the useful entries are the crypto ones and Rapyd, which collects local payment methods. For readers in Brazil there is Pix with its own help page. There is no PayPal.

Registration and login are one screen: email and password, or a Google, Microsoft or Apple account. You do not need to register to see the free feed. You need an account to save filters and to pay.

The interface runs in eleven languages, including Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese and Japanese, so a reader in Brazil, Turkey or India is not limited to English.

Can you get a refund?

Yes, with conditions written in the User Agreement.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time, but not earlier than 7 calendar days after activation. The unused part is refunded in proportion to the days left.

The money goes back by the same method you paid with. The company deducts bank transfer costs and any discount or bonus you received.

It does not compensate currency differences; the refund is in euro.

The refund request must go to support@surebet.com and must contain your account email, the date from which you want to stop, and your own calculation of the refund.

A request sent through the contact form or without these details is not processed. Example: you pay €29.90 for a month and cancel on day 10. Twenty days remain, so the refund is about €19.90 before bank costs.

Plan changes work the same way. Move from Basic to Max in the middle of a month and the unused Basic days are counted toward the new plan.

The agreement also sets a service level. The scanner counts as working when at least 70% of the bookmaker scanners are up.

If fewer than 70% work for more than one hour, you can ask for a one-day extension by email. Compare: BetBurger extends after a 12-hour outage, RebelBetting gives two days for every day down.

Surebet.com's rule starts the fastest of the three (one hour), but its compensation is the smallest (one day).

The agreement also lets the company block an account without a refund if it suspects you use robots to read the feed or share the data with other people.

It does not say what counts as suspicious. In the BetBurger review a subscriber was suspended for two computers on one connection with different filters, and the wording of that ban is close to this one.

Keep to one browser session on any plan; the doubled login rate on Max is still marked single-user.

Where is the free trial?

There is none. After login a green bar says “Get 3 days for free”. It leads to the referral page.

You get 3 days added to your plan when a friend you invited makes a first payment for a period longer than one week, and 1 day if the friend takes the weekly plan. The friend gets the same.

Surebet.com Invite your friends page explaining that both users get 3 free days after the referred friend's first payment
The “3 days for free” link is the referral program, not a trial

So the choice is Free with the 1% cap, or €9.90 for one week of Basic. That week is the real trial. RebelBetting gives 14 days free with capped feeds. BetBurger sells a seven-day bundle for €97.49 or a one-day pass for €5.99.

At €9.90 for seven days of the full prematch feed, Surebet.com is the cheapest full week of a paid scanner in our series. Only BetBurger's €5.99 day pass costs less, and it lasts one day.

Slow data and one pair per event: the Trustpilot complaints

A Trustpilot widget is shown on every page of the site, and one complaint there matches the FAQ. Read the reviews there rather than the score; the score changes each month.

The praise repeats three points: cheap, simple, accurate enough for prematch. Several long-term users say they renew every season.

The two complaints that repeat are slow data and “group arbs”, one surebet per pair of bookmakers: the feed keeps only the best-profit surebet for a given event and set of bookmakers, so the second-best option at the same two bookmakers is never shown.

The FAQ confirms both as design choices. Nobody on Trustpilot complains about billing, which fits a service with no automatic renewal.

Surebet.com alternatives: BetBurger and RebelBetting side by side

Basic at €29.90 a month is less than half of BetBurger Prematch at €79.99 and about a third of RebelBetting Starter at €99.

On an annual plan Surebet.com Basic is €16.66 a month. BetBurger lists 600+ bookmakers and a live feed, Surebet.com 1,076 entries (420 in the popular set) and prematch only, RebelBetting 100+ and prematch only.

Middles: Surebet.com from Basic, BetBurger too, RebelBetting on Pro only.

The three companies: Valuesoft in Belarus, BetBurger by Aspira Limited, RebelBetting from Sweden. A reader in the EU may care about this for payment and dispute reasons.

As a Surebet.com alternative, each of the two costs more. Where Surebet.com loses: no live feed, no promised refresh time, no bet tracker, no community. Its help wiki explains the basics but is not a course like the BetBurger Academy. Where it wins: price, bookmaker coverage in Europe and Africa, and billing with no renewal.

A fourth option, OddStorm, sits at the other end of the price list: from €150 a month, football only, with an in-play feed Surebet.com does not have.

The Basic plan pays for itself at about €1,200 of stakes a month

Take a prematch surebet at 2.5% profit on Basic. To earn back €29.90 you need about €1,200 of total stakes in the month.

With four surebets a week at €80 across the legs, you place about €1,280 and keep about €32. That is the break-even point, before any bookmaker limits you.

Below that amount, stay on Free and use it to learn the feed and the filters.

Above it, Basic is cheap enough that the plan is not the risk; the bookmaker accounts are. Install the SureBetSlip extension, keep your stakes at round numbers, and use the odds converter if a bookmaker shows odds in a format you do not read well.
